to book another trip, in the best and cheapest way possible lol ...

We are looking to go back to dlrp in september around the 14th for 5 nights. Ive done quite a bit of searching but am still unable to find anything that is costing less than £1500 !!!

It will be for 2 adults and 2 kids 7&3 at time of traveling. Our youngest will have a special needs chair and ive found it really had so far to find an airline that can accomodate for some strange reason ?! Oh we will be flying btw from edinburgh or can possibily fly from glasgow.

So can anyone advise on who or where is the best to book with /from.

Many thanks for any help ... :goodvibes

Are there any budget airlines that you could fly with?

A lot of people find that they book their hotel package with Disney but find it cheaper to make their own travel arrangements.

Do easyjet fly from your airport to paris???? I flew on easyjet and they have no problems loading wheelchairs/special needs chairs on board. I think they only allow one adult to accompany the person in the wheelchair on board. The other 2 will have to board as normal but you willl be together until the other passengers start to board as normal.

We have just booked our first trip to DLRP through Thomson.

We looked at internet prices then went round all the travel ages and they all beat each others quote! We cheekily tried to get it down a bit more but they said they couldnt reduce it any further (something to do with % off of brochure price rules or something) so we went with the cheapest of £1475 for 7 nights in July, 2 adults, 2 children (3 and 4 year old) including all passes, flights and transfers plus character breakfast and insurance. This is at Hotel Santa Fe. This was £500 cheaper than one price we had!

Not sure if this was a bargain or not but as we havnt been abroad for years we wanted to book our holiday as a package rather than bits here and there as we are not experts at that (yet!) but from what we found this was the cheapest way for us.

HTH, x. :)

Hi Tinks,

I've had a bit of a google for the dates you're looking for -

Easyjet flights out on Sunday 14th Sept, back on 19th September - total for all your party, including a hold case each, is £445.52 (if you can wait until Monday 15th Sept to fly, the price reduces to £367.52, but that gives you 4 nights in Disney instead of 5).

Official Disney website for hotel/park tickets for all your party -

From Sunday 14th Sept for 5 nights at the Santa Fe - total £585 (this includes 1 day/1 night free offer)

Same dates, but for Hotel Cheyenne - total £654 (this includes an early booker offer of £90 discount on the package price).

I got timed out of the Disney site when I went back to have a look for 4 nights/5 days instead. I'll have a look later.

Alternatively, as you want to go for more than 3 days, it may be cheaper doing hotel only with Expedia for a Disney onsite hotel, and then buying annual passes when you are there (the time of year you want to go is classed as low season, so you could get B&B at the Santa Fe or Cheyenne for about £45 per night total). A Fantasy pass costs 129 euros, which is almost the same price as a 3-day park hopper ticket. So lets say you can get a hotel for £45 per night for 5 nights, that would be £225, plus the price of your fantasy annual passes (minus 10% sponsor discount you can get from some kind member here) about £366 (at just nows very poor exchange rate against the euro). So in total that would be £591, plus around £445 for your flights. Also, you can use your fantasy passes as your park tickets for a whole year from the time you buy them, and possibly you might get a free one for your 3-year old if they extend the current child-free annual pass when bought with an adult one offer.
