Hi everyone,
I work in a secondary school that is going to become an academy. We will no longer be working for the LEA but can stay on one of their contracts. The company that is going to run the academy is in the process of "matching" the staff to the available positions in the academy. This process has so far involved writing new job descriptions for everyone. Mine for example has included any possible thing I am every likely to be asked to do in my job ever.
It also includes duties I currently get paid extra to do such as lunch time supervision.
Can anyone give me any advice as to where I stand? Can the new company change my job description and working hours without my consent?
Any advice or guidance would be greatfully received.
Thanx
