Help needed . . .

I currently have reservations at SSR for 12/16-22. My DS's school is changing their start date for next year and this will now cause us to be gone during school. My questions is what is it like at Thanksgiving vs. the time we have scheduled now. Crowds, activities (candlelight precessional, MVMCP), weather, etc. Thanks!

I like to go to Disney the friday after Thanksgiving, which means I take the kids out of school for the week. It is one of the least busiest times of the year. It's decorated for xmas, and MVMCP is a blast. The fri and sat are busy, but once sun afternoon hits the crowd level drops right off. The only other problem that I have run into is the following fri and sat at the MK they start to tape the Christmas parade. So things are very busy down Main St but the ride times are still short. Good luck in deciding when you are going!!!
