Help needed with car quote - fairly ASAP!

We've just booked our flights for next May and the very nive VA lady has given us a quote on car hire. She is going to ring us back in 2 hours (10pm tonight) to give us time to think about it.

It's 16th May 2013 - 4th June 2013 (17 days), 2dr intermediate (DH thinks we need 4dr), 2 drivers, full insurance without the full tank - £435.

I know you guys often say to put quote on here for advice on whether it's a go-er!

Don't know if its too late for advice but I would wait, I find best prices are usually 1-3 months before going.

For your dates via this link http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/othe...e/734198-holidayautos-discount-worldwide.html it would cost £424 less 13% QUIDCO = £368.

If you booked 17 nights this month it would cost £311 - 13% = £270, far better booking closer to your holiday rather than so far in advance (unless you see a bargain)

Thanks Wayne, we were able to hold her off for another few days, so your advice is very helpful - I think we'll go with it and wait.

I paid £352 for a 7 seat minivan for 2 weeks, extra drivers plus tank of fuel.

I would never pay that much for a 2dr Intermediate!
