help...need to get to Hilton downtown disney

We are staying at Pop Century for the 1st 3 days of our vacation. We then have opted to rent a car from the Hilton DD to get to port canaveral for our cruise. It was just to costly for a family to take a towncar or the disney express.

Can we just take the bus to downtown disney and then walk? Any info on where the Hilton is from the bus drop off? Any advise would be gratly appreciated.

Yes, you could. You need to walk from the drop-off to the big intersection to go accross to the other side (where Hilton is). Hilton is the first hotel from that intersection so total walk probably 5 - 10 minutes max!.
