Help! Need to add someone to my room

I have never had to add someone and need some tips. I have a 1 bedroom villa at SSR booked starting next Sunday, 29 July for three adults, for 5 nights. My adult niece now wants to join us for two days. I know I can have a fourth adult in the room, but can I add her this late?
I should be able add DME for her, right?
I will have little to no luck getting FP to match ours, so I'll just let her use my MB and my FPs. I've been a million times and she's been once.
Anything I should know, or I am missing?

Yes, you can add her. Just get on chat with MS. They can handle it.

You also can just go online and modify the guests on the reservation to add her.

For MDE you can use chat or call in to get her set up.

For FP's you might just check day of or the night before. All you need is a FP to overlap what you have. But of course letting her use your FP will work too. I suspect it would be a bit more fun for everyone to go on the rides though if possible!

It’s not too late to add her. It can be done online. The same with MDE for her.

Getting FPs for one person can be a lot easier than getting them for a group. Just shoot for any FPs for her that overlap with your own. So, if you have FPs for 10:00-11:00 AM, you could book one for her that falls at any time in that range. A FP for 10:15-11:15 works pretty much as good as one that matches yours exactly.

Your niece won’t get a MB until arriving at the resort. It’s too late to have one shipped for her. Just get one at check in. She will also not get luggage tags for DME. She can give the DME representatives her baggage claim tags at MCO if she wishes to have them handle her bags or she can retrieve them from the baggage carousel and take them on the DME bus.

If you have the dining plan, you will need to add her to it and pay for her for the entire reservation.

Thanks for the tips. As soon as she gets her air, I'll get her ticket and grab whatever FP I can for her. Luckily, ours was a last minute trip, so our FP are for the evenings.

Try adding her to your FPs, sometimes you can just add 1 or 2 people without any problems.

I’ve been able to modify a reservation online even after it has been linked in MDE. People have been added or removed and nights have been changed. Never had a problem.

Not linked in MDE....linked to a 2nd reservation (2 stays at the same resort - linked so you do not have to switch rooms) Did not mean to be ambiguous. Linked in MDE doesn't affect anything. However when you add a name, then go into MDE it asks you to associate the new names with someone in friends and family if I am not mistaken.

If it is 2 linked reservations, they have to unlink, modify, relink.

Sorry. Totally misunderstood what you meant when you said “linked”.

When you add a name and go into MDE, you will be asked to link the name to someone in your account. The system tries to match the name to existing names but you can also add a name if the individual is someone that you have never traveled with in the past.
