We know not to go to the main parks on New Years Eve, but what about Blizzard Beach? Any one know if it would be super crowded on New Years Eve Day?
And what about the parks on New Years Day?

I don't know about Blizzard Beach, but I did go down over New Years about 7 years ago. We went to Epcot on New Years Day and we could not believe how empty it was! New Years Eve was crowded, but until about 3 or 4pm all of the popular rides had no wait. So go early and get all the major rides done so you can relax and not feel pressured when the crowds come!

Hi,

The water parks are never super crowded in the winter months. First of all, the locals would never dream of going to a water park in December! And secondly, the weather may be too cold to swim, even for a robust Canadian like you!

Edited to add: I'll defer to FeralPeg's post below; she knows better than I do since she lives there! I had never seen a post like that before about BB or TL being full during the Holiday season.

When we were there for NYD 2007, the parks were still crowded. However, the marathon was the coming weekend and the people running got great package deals. We over heard some of them talking on the bus and they said since they got great deals they decided to bring there family. That could be part of the reason it was still crowded NYD.

I passed Blizzard Beach yesterday on my way to Animal Kingdom. There was a sign up saying it was closed due to capacity. This was about noon.
