Help! My son is at Disney for cheer nationals with his school. He lost his phone on a ride at Universal today...

Soooo-
first ride and my son’s phone falls out of his pocket and off the ride cart, into the track. He immediately tells them and is told that they can’t do anything until they sweep the ride after close.
My son fills out the lost and found info and is waiting to hear from them. No word yet. They closed at 7:00.
He is staying onsite at All Star Sports at WDW for the week and will not be returning to universal.
anyone have any suggestions of courier services or anyone that might be able to pick up from universals lost and found and deliver to his WDW resort? I’m happy to pay and I’ll tip well!

Did he make a report at guest services and give a phone #/email to contact him ?
You can follow up and contact them by email tonight and give info about the lost phone, how to contact you, etc.
Or you can call guest services in the morning to see if it was turned in yet.
Once a lost item has been logged in, GS would have information about it.

(I think that option is available between 10 am to 7 pm so if you call before 10, don't push the options number.)

But you can call in the morning to talk to Guest Services

They do a sweep of the entire park each night after it closes.
When one section is done, the workers continue to a different section.

Sometimes it takes hours after sweeping the park for items to be turned into guest services by this working team.
If the phone is turned in, someone will make contact with him
It is not unusual for it to take 24 hours to hear back from GS on a lost item report.

When the phone is found and he is contacted, have him ask if they have anyway or any service that can bring it to him as he is not staying onsite at UO.
