Help - Missing tix from Getawaytoday?

Hi all,
Getawaytoday's help desk is closed right now and I'm somewhat anxious to figure out what's going on with the tickets I recently ordered. I got a big Disney envelope in the mail from them yesterday with just a receipt in it - no tickets. It doesnt' say anything about will call but do you think that's where they expect me to get my tickets?

I went with them b/c I thought they would actually send me the real tickets. But I can deal with stopping at Guest services if need be.

Or are the tickets going to show up in a seperate mailing? What do you all think?
 
I believe Getaway has recently changed to only offer the e-ticket option which means you will have to go to Will Call or a ticket booth with your receipt and ID and then you will get your hoppers. They used to mail you a voucher which had to be turned in for a hopper, but now they just send you a receipt.

I'm sure someone else will correct me if I'm wrong, but that is how I understand their system to work now.
 
I too ordered my tix for GAT. You have to pick them up at will call outside the DL/DCA entrances. We don't have plans to go to the park until the Monday of our trip so I am going to walk over and pick them up ahead of time.

I also ordered meal vouchers (for character dining) and I have to go there to pick those up too.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. The last two trips I ordered once from Disney and once from somewhere else who did send me the actual hoppers in the mail. So that's what I was expecting. Ah well. Luckily we are getting there in the afternoon so I can pick up the hoppers and not delay a MM entrance.

We got character meal vouchers, thanks to suggestions from the lovely members of this board.
 

We just got our package from Getaway a few days ago. It had a lanyard and a Disney pin for each ticket, and they had a little slip stapled to the receipt about where to pick up the tickets.

When you get your tickets, make sure you check that they show TWO Magic Mornings. A couple of people had two for the children's tickets and only one on the adult tickets. The ticket window should be able to reprint these if it happens to you.
 
Yes its all electronically done. You pick your tickets up at the gates at DL. Getawaytoday gives you a confirmation number. You take that to the parks no matter if you were sent a confirmation slip with lanyards etc in the mail. You just give them the card you used to pay for the tickets and tell them it is through Getawaytoday and they will hand you your tickets. If there is any problem which I have never had, DL has told me at the booth that they will call getawaytoday and figure out whats going on for you and help you get organized.

Did you give Getawaytoday your email address? Cause they also send you confirmation of payment to your email addie. I would print that as well and take it to the parks. It has all your payment and confirmation numbers on it.
 
Thanks everyone, I feel much better now! Now I can sleep tonight LOL! And since it won't interfere with our timing in the morning it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

Where is the "will call" booth? Is it the same as Guest services to the east of the entrance. I need to pick up my Fanstasmic premium seating tix there anyway. :cool1:
