Help!!!! Men's boots sizing

I am purchasing items for our school's Giving Tree. The boy I have needs a Men's size 9 wide in snow boots. I have looked and looked but can't find them anywhere. Should I just go with a size 9 Medium or go up a size to 9 1/2 or 10 Medium hoping they will accommodate the needed width?

My teen son wears a wide. We got him insulated work boots from Sears, they were a little pricey-$85 on sale. With him, he needs a wide-going up a size didn't work, they're still too narrow. Good luck on your search, you are very kind hearted to be so generous!

I am not a male, but I was blessed with wide feet and trust me, going up a size does not work. If he needs wide, then buy him wide or find another gift to get. I have the hardest time buying any type of shoes because I have a very short fat foot and nothing fits right.
