I'm driving myself bananas trying to decide if MM is the way to go. Will Photopass photographers still use your personal camera? Has anyone done this? I'm thinking of renting a lens to take with me since the budget isn't allowing for a purchase yet :( I have a manual 50mm but was thinking of renting a 30mm or 35mm with AF. Does anyone know what the PP photogs are equipped with in the parks? Thanks for all the help!!!

Hi! Got back from wdw 1/5 and I did the memory maker for our trip. We were there for 1/1-1/5 and I was a little uncertain doing it for such a short time, but with a 2 year old and a 15 year old girl - getting good pictures is a rarity. Bottom line - very pleased and glad I did it. They will still use your camera. I don't know their equipment but I'll ask my husband if he noticed. I got a ton if great pictures - 3 that made me cry they're so perfect, so in my mind - made it worth it. We made sure to all use them any time we saw them even with numerous poses at the same place. We really made an effort to get the most out of it. We had magic bands so always had it easily accessible.

The last time that I talked with them about 9 months ago they were shooting with Nikon D90's in program mode.

I think it's worth it but still have them use your camera too. I got several pack from them that had been taken with tungsten white balance, among other issues. At least when I set the settings myself those are good. I didn't always have them use my camera though and I'm glad I did the full purchase. (It was PP+ last spring.)
