We will be in the parks from Dec. 12-15, so 4 full park days. My kids are 19, 11 and 9. They aren't super interested in characters, except for the younger kids love Star Wars. Yes, I know I am kinda late to planning, but we had a rough summer, so that's mu excuse. :) I've tried to take into consideration all extra magic hours and such. My tentative plan is as follows:

Dec. 12 - MK all day.
Dec 13 - HS from 9-2 or 3, then a siesta in the resort, then onto Epcot around 5 or 6 until close at 1130.
Dec 14 - AK 9-2 or 3, siesta at the resort, then onto MK around 5 or 6 until close at midnight.
Dec 15 - Epcot from 8-11 or 12, then MK until close at 7.

Does that sound stupid? I want to see the Candlelight Processional and I want to see all of the stuff at Epcot. Hubby and kids aren't super big Epcot fans, so I am trying to get what I can in during Epcot's EMH. We can always drop the last morning trip to Epcot, or I am open to swapping things around if needed. Just wanted to get the most park time possible. Know what I mean?

Depending on resort op is staying at by the time they get back to resort and want to be at next park nap tine may be very very short

With kids that age and only 4 days, I would probably not do the mid-day break back at the hotel. A table service lunch or a longer slow attraction in the afternoon might be a better use of time.

I was going to say that I think you might get some push-back by planning nap time for kids that age. I'd be flexible on it. If you need a break, the option is there, but be open to going all day with rest times in the park. You may even consider splitting up, with some staying at the park and some going to rest.

What do you mean by "see all the stuff at Epcot"? Are you talking about just rides? If so, your times are good. To me, Epcot has the most holiday offerings I love, including the holiday storytellers and Voices of Liberty holiday shows. If you'd like to enjoy these, then you'd need to adjust your times, as they are afternoon offerings in World Showcase. I highly recommend the dining package if you plan to see the CP. Enjoy!

I would do the holiday fireworks show at HS over a third night at MK. And did you verify that you don't have any party night conflicts in your MK schedule? Otherwise I think it looks great. Have fun!

Ahhhh... naptime. That's a bit for me and hubby as well. :rolleyes1 BUT, I talked with the kids about it and they are kinda excited about chilling in the room mid-day. I have weird kids - I didn't even push them towards that. If we get there and they are too wound up to rest - we don't necessarily sleep, but just relax for a bit - then we can adjust our plans accordingly, I suppose. :)

We are staying at CBR.

Good idea on checking on the party schedule. Just checked and looks like we are in the clear there.

Good idea on fireworks at HS. Maybe we'll head over to HS for the fireworks show on the last evening. I was just watching some videos on youtube (actually of the star wars fireworks show) and they look amazing!

Thanks everyone. Now to plan our time in each park.

Just consider that the travel time between a park and to/from a room will probably use up at least an hour of time depending on where you stay.

Each way unless you are walking/monorail to/from a deluxe room/associated park.
