Help me with Childcare decision ....

DD 4 and I are going to WDW in June for a mother/daughter trip. I would like to take a few hours for Mommy during our stay. I am considering 2 options .... Neverland Club or Kids Nite Out.

I like the idea of Neverland Club because she'd have other kids to play with, but we are staying at ASMo and getting there and back would be a pain.

With Kids Nite Out, she would be able to stay in the hotel with the sitter, I could go to one of the other values and relax by the pool for a while alone or take the bus to DTD for a while,there's really no big transportation issues.

I know KNO costs more but I wonder if Neverland Club is worth saving a few bucks if I'm just going to end up with an hour or more travel time tacked on.

Ideas? Suggestions? Would really appreciate your input. Thanks!

I would be nervous leaving my child with KNO on her own...now if there was a sibling, or other kids, that would be a different matter. To me, traveling to The Neverland Club and her having other kids to play with (and a really neat area) would be worth the extra time.

I would lean toward one of the clubs, too because it will be more fun for her and because I am super-paranoid about sitters that I don't know being one-on-one with my kids. If you are just wanting general "mom-time" you could hang out at the pool at whatever resort DD is at the club in. You could both go to DtD for dinner, take a bus to the club, and then take a cab back for less than the cost difference between the two options. Of course I'm cheap and would probably just put a baby monitor in the room and get my "mom time" if I needed it by hanging out in the hallway where I could see the door to the room or something.
