Hubby and I are trying to decide what we want to do for our next adult only cruise, and only second ever vacation without our 5 kids. We are gold CC members and have sailed the Wonder, Dream, and Wish x3. Admittedly, the Wish is my favorite ship in the fleet 🤩. I have always wanted to do the double dip which it seems like Disney is very rarely offering anymore, and also on my bucket list is to sail on every Disney ship, haha.
Which should we choose?

Side by side in mid Jan- 4 night Wish going to CC and Nassau + 5 night Fantasy going to CC, LC & CC (Double dip!)
or 7 night Treasure going to Tortola, St. Thomas and CC in late Jan 2027. Would love all input! Thanks in advance!

Is there a cost difference between the two options?

I’m currently trying to decide between a 5 night Fantasy + 3 days WDW, or 7 night Treasure (but the one with San Juan), so I’d probably pick the option with the Fantasy for you since I like the ship better than the Wish class. Especially for adult only groups!

Is there no b2b on the Fantasy that would be an option for you instead because if so that would be my choice.

Not sure I would risk my double dip to CC in January. It could be too cold to get in the water. If you loved the Wish, you would also love the Treasure.

Just to add - the Dream is also sailing a few 7 night cruises out of FL in January of 2027. That might also be an option!

The back to back would be great! Plus you’ll be able to wave off all those other folks who have to fly home…

We've done both without the kids; E Caribbean hands down. After our first E Carib on Treasure, my wife turned to me as we drove from the terminal in Port Canaveral and said, "That was amazing. Please book another." Twist my arm; sure thing. I know the Wish class gets a lot of hate here on the boards, but we love the Treasure. In addition, the weather will be much warmer that time of year as you get into the tropics.

I would chose the treasure personally. Especially since you say the Wish is your favorite ship- I would assume you would also love the Treasure!

It depends on what is most important to you, and whether you want to repeat what you loved about the Wish or explore new ships and experiences.

If you want to spend most of your shore time at the Disney islands, then the Wish/Fantasy would be ideal, since it would give you 3 visits to those islands.
If you want to see other parts of the Caribbean, then the Treasure would be your better option, because you've already been to (or had the opportunity to visit) Nassau.

If you want to explore new areas of the ships, the Treasure would be better, because it has some differently themed bar areas from the other ships. The Fantasy adult-only bar area is more themed than the similar area on the Dream, but isn't all that different, nor is the rest of the ship much different from the Dream.

If you're interested in shows, the Wish/Fantasy would give you 5 unique main theater shows (with Aladdin on both ships), although if you've already seen Believe on the Dream and Frozen on the Wonder, none will be truly new to you. The Treasure has 3 shows, with at least 1 (Tale of Moana) you certainly haven't seen before.

As far as restaurants, the Wish/Fantasy would give you 6 different main dining rooms. Restaurants on the Fantasy are basically the same as on the Dream. The Treasure would give you 3 dining rooms, with one (Plaza de Coco) new to you.
On a double-dip, you could book Palo/Palo Steakhouse brunch and/or dinner twice, if you wanted to.
Remy on the Fantasy offers brunch and a dessert experience. Enchante on the Wish and Treasure, last I heard, just has lunch and dinner, with the same menu.

As someone who has cruised on the first 4 Disney ships, mostly on the Magic and Dream, I would probably do the Treasure since it is so different. However, since you've already done and loved the Wish, it's a tougher call.

When I looked at this, my thought was, do you value uninterrupted time on the ship more or less than variety?

The 4 +5 night switching ships will mean you will have several hours between sailings, the hassle of switching ships, and the time lost packing up/unpacking. You do gain 1 extra full day and one extra half day (second boarding day) with this option though which in overall ship days it does come out ahead.

All that lost time in my head means you end up losing some of the relaxing feeling of being on one ship for the duration.

So is stability or variety what you are looking for more? That's the question I'd use to choose. Which one I pick depends on what I need out of the vacation. If I was picking today, I'd go 7 day over 9 day. The extra days are not worth the extra hassle for me in this moment.

For me, if I have a full week to get to do the ship that is only sailing 7 nights right now I would jump at that chance.

The Treasure is an amazing ship and the entertainment cast they brought on from other ships is incredible.

The side by side sounds amazing but I did that EC on the Treasure in early 2025 and it was great even if we lost the San Juan port stop. In fact, we loved the EC so much we did it on the Treasure in 2025 after we did a 7 night EC on the Fantasy in 2023. EC is that good IMO.

(Looking forward to a southern Carribean someday.)

EC was our first Disney cruise on the Magic in Feb 2007. :cloud9:
