Help me remember a movie I saw as a child.

Does anyone remember this movie? It seems it was something we watched in elementary school. (I'm 30, if that helps, lol). The only things I can really remember are a young girl, who was a witch (I think and not sure if she knew or not), rents a room or goes to stay with someone and her son (maybe). The people she is living with make pancakes (blueberry, I think) and when she eats the pancakes, she sees stars and colors and spots. That's going on a 20+ year memory!

HELP!

Does that sound AT ALL familiar to anyone?

I absolutely remember that movie. We watched it all the time at school. I will have to ask my mom what it was called. She was a teacher at the same school where I saw that movie. I always called it the pancake witch movie. I don't think that was the name. What a classic!
