First off, don't order anything from this place! I ordered an Italian Disney charm from them on 7/11, got it, it was charged to my Disney charge, everything went fine. Now last Thurday I got a charm from them in the mail, which I didn't order. I emailed them and I get no response. I see today I have a charge pending with them for the charm, I am sending this charm back tomorrow in the mail. Now today I get another email from them saying my charm has been shipped on yet another charm which I didn't order. I haven't got it yet, and no charge for it yet. I email them I get a notification that the email didn't take, so I emailed the wholesale person on the website, and of course no response. I will send this one back as soon as it comes also. I tried to find a phone # for them, no luck. Here is the name/address, I hope it is ok to post this:

GrowWithCharm.com
1801 Muledeer Run
Leander, Tx 78641

Any help on what I do would be appreciated. If there is anyone that can get a phone # for them (so I can chew them out) please let me know. Thank You, I am desparate.

How do I go about reporting this company?

Have you called your credit card company. They can block charges from the company and you can report the fraudlent charges. Good luck! Also check the BBB for the state of Texas.

Thank You. I called the credit card company and they said the charge was pending, that I must wait another day or 2 till it is actually posted, so I guess I need to be patient another day or 2, but I am so     . I will try to contact the Texas BBB.

It might also be a good idea to have a receipt that you did send it back to them and they did recieve it. I forget what it's called.

I checked whois for the domain. That has a phone number listed.

Just called the phone number, of course I got the answering machine, and of course I'm sure my call won't be returned. I have reported them to the Texas BBB, now I'm just waiting for the pending charge to post so I can talk to CC company.

Send them a fax along with a certified letter that states something like the following

Dear company,

I have received notification that you have charged me for an item. Please note I do not have any current transactions with your company. Please do not send me any more items.

Yours truly
Catsrule

This way you are covered incase they try to sue you.

Cheryl

Thanks for the warning. If I'd seen the company, I might have ordered from them. I can't believe companies do that. Good luck!

Thanks again, Cheryl, Tammi, and everyone else. I just went to the post office and sent the charm back by certified mail along with a note saying I didn't order this, you don't return my emails, please refrain from sending me any more, etc. Now I wait and see if I get another one. I also emailed the AOL email, but of course, no response back. Now just waiting for it to post so I can talk to CC company. Thank You for your advice, everyone.

Ha-Ha, I finally got an email from the witch, she said the charm was sent to the wrong person, my confirmation number should be the reverse that was sent. Just one problem with this witch, I was the wrong person you sent it to! And I didn't order nothin!

Maybe the phone message I left on her answering machine woke her up!:teeth:

Hopefully that'll be the last charm she sends to you instead of someone else!

You are not obligated to return anything you did not order. See the USPS site:

http://www.usps.com/websites/depart/inspect/merch.htm

A company sends you a gift in the mail--a ball point pen, a key chain, a tie. But you didn't order it. What do you do? If you are the type of person this company is looking for, you may feel guilty about accepting the item without paying for it. Don't feel guilty! It's yours, and you are under no obligation to pay anything.

You, the consumer, may only legally be sent two types of merchandise through the mail without your consent or agreement:

Free samples which are clearly and conspicuously marked as such.

Merchandise mailed by a charitable organization that is soliciting contributions.

And in these two cases, you can consider the merchandise a gift if you wish. In all other situations, it is illegal to send merchandise to someone, unless that person has previously ordered or requested it.

These rules are codified in Title 39, United States Code, Section 3009. That section of the Postal Reorganization Act of 1970 incorporates these protections for American consumers and makes the mailing of unordered merchandise unfair methods of competition and unfair trade practices under the law.

If you do not wish to pay for unsolicited merchandise or make a donation to a charity sending such an item, you may do one of three things (in each case, by law, you have no obligation to the sender):

If you have not opened the package, you may mark it "Return to Sender," and the Postal Service will return it with no additional postage charged to you.

If you open the package and don't like what you find, you may throw it away.

If you open the package and like what you find, you may keep it for free. In this instance, "finders-keepers" applies unconditionally.

Furthermore, it is illegal for a company that sends you unordered merchandise to follow the mailing with a bill or dunning communication.

If you are aware of violations of the federal law prohibiting the mailing of unordered merchandise, or if you have personally had difficulty with such items--especially if you are sent statements demanding payment for the merchandise--you should contact you local postmaster or the nearest Postal Inspector.

As far as your charge card, you need to block all further charges from this company, and dispute the one.

Thank you, jipsy and sdoane. I already sent the charm back today by certified mail. The CC said they can't do anything until the charge posts, so if and when it does, I will be contesting it and blocking all further charges from her. Thanks for all the advice.

This is the email I got from her, doesn't make any sense since I didn't order anything, the charm just showed up in my mail.

It was mailed to the wrong person your order was the inverse in numbers.
Martha

What the?????

Could it be this person is having problem with their shopping cart or credit card verification software? Sounds like a glitch in their system.

Sound like she is saying that she mailed you the charm on accident. Your order # was 12345 and another person's was 54321 and she sent it to you by mistake.

The only problem is that I didn't order another charm, and there is a second charge from her pending on my CC, but it is still in the pending stage, hasn't actually posted yet. :(
