I'm not actually sure this is the right place to post this, admins move if it's in the wrong place! Here goes!

Our flight arrives at 11:14am at MCO. We are using the Magical Express to get to Coronado Springs.

Question 1: What time can we expect to arrive at CSR? I've been thinking we should be there around 1 if we get off the plane and go straight to the ME.

So at 1(ish) our room probably won't be ready I imagine and even if it is we probably won't have our bags immediately, correct? We've never arrived this early in the day.

I have been planning on dinner at Disney Springs at Homecomin' at 5:40.

Question 2: If we arrive and go straight to Disney Springs would we have enough time to eat lunch at DS or should we just eat at the Pepper Market and then wait to eat again until dinner at Homecomin'?

Question 3: What is there to do in DS since all of the changes? We haven't been since 2012 so I know things are very different now. We are probably not looking to do a whole lot of shopping since we will have all week to shop in the parks, but is there anything we can't miss?

Does anyone else do just DS on their first day? What is your plan? I almost wonder if I should add another park day here, but I don't know, it might be too much for our 4 year old to get up early and travel all morning and then have a late night...so much to think about.

I can’t answer many of your questions, but we are arriving around 10 am and plan on doing DS our first day too. The other thing we booked was an Illuminations cruise for that evening. We plan on grabbing a quick lunch at our resort and dinner at DS before the cruise.

Your room may actually be ready. Often it is, sometimes it not.

Disney Springs--eat, shop, eat...you can go bowling there or watch a movie too. Not terribly exciting but it's nice enough.

Our trips start one day apart as well. That's fun :-)

I would plan on getting to the resort by 1:30 but I do t have a good reason for thinking that! Pessimism I guess lol

Oh and the LEGO store is a big hit just to look through. We are considering the Star Wars VR thing that’s there now too.

Honestly, other than shopping and eating, there is really not much to do there unless you want to bowl or see a movie. They did add the Star Wars VR experience, but I believe 10 is the minimum age. If it isn't too cost prohibitive, I would add a park day. I would probably have lunch at Pepper Market when you arrive and go to MK for a few hours. Even if you don't do a lot of rides, it might be a nice time to soak in the atmosphere, meander down Main St., ride the train, etc.

I see you have a daughter if she is anything like mine she will find plenty to do at DS. Shopping, shopping and shopping. We do a day there (well the girls do I go resort hopping). They also love Goofy's Candy Co. a great bit.
