Alright
so we have been to Disney MAny times on the dining plan (spoiled)
we are going on a 3 night cruise for my High school grad present. My mom decided that before the cruise (its out of port Canaveral) that we would stay 2 nights in WDW!!!! We are also volunteering one day to go to parks(adding hopper to free option). Since we have never done it b/c we want the DDP we never have stayed at the Swan/Dolphin.. For the location and price (apprx $220 night in may) we decided this would be a great new place!
MY DBF(19) is also tagging along..Never been too WDW. Not overly excited. Hates the heat and big crowds but LOVES food.
MY question is:
We are trying to decide on a dinner for the night we arrive. My mom thinks a buffet or family style would be good for him.
I have always wanted to do 1900 park fare (he wouldnt mind any characters, as long as there is food!) Is the food at 1900 decent or is it icky cold pasta at a buffet.
We did Ohana back when the menu was different (06?) and this is at the top of our picks.
Chef MIckey i did when i was about 11-12 and hardly remember. Is the food here decent?
Is Cape me Cafe decent? seemed alot cheaper then other dinners. Is there a reason why?
Overall he doesnt care about a "theme" or characters. I just want to please him with yummy food (lots of it!) and I will be pleased by characters (if they are there)!!!
SO basically Help me decide which sounds best!!!
THanks!!!!
*Any new ideas are very welcome too, but no theme park dining please*
