Hi everyone,

I'm taking a shorter (5 night, 4 full park days w/ 2 half-days) trip with my boyfriend in October for F&WF and MNSSHP. The plan is to do the QSDP and do mostly CS (saving most snack credits for two F&WF "meals") and to pay OOP for 3 or so sit-down meals. My last trip was on the free DDP last August with my mom, and I found that I really enjoyed Jiko and the California Grill, but wasn't as thrilled with a lot of the 1TS places- not that they were bad, but that I'd rather save my money for fewer nicer meals since most of the 1TS places seemed similar to what I could get at home.

Jiko and CG are definites. What should our third "nice" dinner be? My first instinct was Artist Point, but I haven't heard a lot about it. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Try Narcoosee's. We absolutely love the whole Maine lobster. Don't forget their signature Almond crusted cheese cake, yummy:thumbsup2

This coming trip DH & I are trying 3 new signature restaraunts, Citricos, Artist Point & Yachtsman Steakhouse. Last trip we ate at Narcoosees & had a lovely meal there as well. I'd say just check out the menus & see what appeals to you most. I don't think you can go significantly "wrong" with any of the signature places. :goodvibes

My sons, in same age group as you, have dined at almost all of the Disney signatures with their spouses. So I "polled" them and not counting Jiko and CG, which you already mentioned, they would put the others in the following order.

Citricos
Yachtsman
Artist Point
Narcoosees

They have not tried Flying Fish even tho it's my favorite Disney dining plan restaurant. Second is Jiko and then third would be Citricos.

Also, if you are going to be paying OOP, you might want to look at Bistro de Paris and bluezoo menus as they both have better food than the signatures and a more adult environment.

I'm a big fan of Artist Point.. I'd say give that one a try.
Make sure you try the cobbler :lovestruc

My twenty somethings love Artist Point. Really, everyone we take there loves it.

Also...try Flying Fish, Blue Zoo or IL Mulino if the two of you really enjoy good food.

Another big fan of Flying Fish. You also might enjoy the atmosphere of the baordwalk with ESPN club and Jellyrolls piano Bar.

We are trying Blue Zoo this June and I will report back how it is.
