Help me pick dates Oct-Dec

We are a family of 3. 2 adults 1 11 year old boy. We can go anytime in Oct-Dec. We wish for the lowest crowds and the most economical rates. 6 days at hotel, 4-5 in the parks.

Don't care about parades, decorations or fireworks...just rides.

When would be the best time to go?

During that time any time between Nov 1 and the weekend before Thanksgiving. Even better, before they add the holiday decorations which would likely be Nov 11 this year. So Nov 1-10 would be what you want. Next best would be week after Thanksgiving.

I was thinking Nov 6-11...so I should be pretty good then?

FYI 11/11 is Veteran's Day which is a holiday for a lot of people, also a blockout day for some APs so crowds will be higher but I think the days prior should be good!

I also think your best bet is going to be early November, but note that Sunday, November 6th is the Fall Dapper Day, so I would expect that weekend to be pretty busy. The Avengers Marathon is slated for November 10 to 13 (Thu to Sun), so there are usually pretty good crowds associated with that event. If DLR follows the same schedule as the past, the holiday season should also start on Friday, November 11, so there will be pretty high crowds for that weekend as well. I think you're best bet for lower crowds is going to be on the weekdays (Mon to Thu, avoiding any holidays). Weekends (Fri to Sun) are usually pretty busy because of events and holidays (e.g., HalloweenTime is very popular and all weekends in October tend to be busy).

This is our usual time but because of dapper day we're going earlier this year.
