Help me pick a resort! AKL, CSR or POP

I need some advice, please! I'm so torn as to what to do. We are staying 8 nights....4 are at Beach Club. Which resort should we stay at for the other 4 nights? AKL, CSR or POP? AKL would be $495, CSR would be $396 and POP is $250. We are currently booked at POP, but with these crazy low prices, how can I pass up AKL or CSR? I worry that it's going to be such a difference going from BC to POP that we won't like POP as much as we would if were just staying there for the whole trip.

My husband is leaving after our four nights at Beach Club so it's just me and the kids for the remaining four nights.

DIS'ers, please help me decide! We leave in three weeks!

Not to be debbie-downer, but are your sure about that AKL price? The cheapest I see a standard AKL room is $265 in value season. Maybe you have a 30% off code, so minus about $80 equals $185 plus taxes per night. $185 at 4 nights is $740 plus taxes.

$185 is still a great price though.

I want to ditto what everyone else is saying about going from a deluxe to POP. If you can do it the other way around, that would be fine, but I think you'll feel let down.

And AKL is an awesome resort!! If you can afford it, go for it.

OP here! Thank you everyone for your opinions! We chose CSR. I know, I know....I'm so silly for not taking advantage of that crazy cheap rate at AKL. We rented DVC points and stayed at Kidani last summer, so the kids wanted to try a new resort. The only mod we've stayed at is POR. If it were up to me, we would be at AKL. But thank you for affirming my thought that it would be really tough going from BC to POP. Had we stayed at POP for the first part of our trip then moved to BC, I think it would have been OK...but the reverse....not so great.

Thanks!

OP back again! After initially booking CSR, I decided to go with the majority (and my gut) and book AKL. While CSR looks really nice, I just can't beat the price. The food selection at AKL will be better for us as well.

For all those wondering if the prices are correct, yes they are correct. I am utilizing a CM discount.

Thanks everyone! :)
