help me make a decision!!!

My friend and I are going down for four days June 8-11. I have made arrangements to rent a car. Between the EC with National discount and the Disney coupon, we are paying $106 for the four complete days.

We are staying at the ASMusic. We had terrible luck with long waits for the buses at DI last September, and the one time we went to FW, we had to stop at an AS on the way. We were appalled by the loooooong line and how crowded the bus was, so we thought that we would rent a car this time.

We are not going to any other resorts other than the AKL, and we are not park hopping. We will be doing an e-night our first night there are will be going to PI our last night.

Should I pay double the price of the Mears shuttle to save the agrivation and wasted time of riding the bus, or is my imagination being over active and I should just plan to blow the money at the World Showcase?

We have always stayed at the Allstar resorts and I don't think we have ever waited longer than 15-20 mins for a bus... We like the thought of parking the car (we drive down) and not getting back in it until you are ready to leave.... IMO, using the WDW transportation is the way to go...

I would rent a car. I've stayed at the AllStars twice, Sports & Movies, and will be there again next month, Music, & am renting a car for the same reason as you Kaelyn. Both times in October we seemed to wait and wait to get to the MK, then getting to the Boardwalk took forever. We bypassed it and had to transfer to another bus @ Downtown Disney. I think the convenience of an air conditioned car in June will be worthwhile!

we found that same problem when we stayed at the ASMo waiting for a bus. it seemed to take forever. I would get a car myself. this way you have your own transportation at your fingertips.

I always rent a car when I go to Florida. I love being able to come and go as I please. I wait in enough lines at the park and don't want to wait in lines for a bus when I am tired and want to go back to the room.
