Am I nuts yes mayb but can't help it. If I buy some now its ok isn't
or am I truely mad!

Why not do it now!!! You can start learning now and be prepared come 2016. Yes some things will change between now and then but being prepared is a good thing. Planing a WDW trip can be overwhelming but if you are educated it will help you

I would buy them now.:)
We bought a Birts guide to Florida for our 1st visit (read the whole thing back to front) and a new one before our next trip. It was pretty much the same, sure a few updates but not much new.
Libraries also have copies of the books, could always borrow them if needed.

Theyre not much though, so just buy a copy and hughlight some top tips :thumbsup2

I advise you read the Unofficial Guide to WDW. Its fat so it might take you that long to get through it!I think I've read all the major ones, (Brits Guide, Bairnbaums, sp?, Passporter, Eye Witness Florida) and IMHO the Unofficial Guide is by far the best. They are certainly all of value.

Another thumbs up for Unofficial Guide. Found it so full of info especially for a first timer, and never too early to start reading it!

I found the Brit guide ok, but the UG covers everything in there plus more. The Brit centric stuff I often found out of date, and found this forum much more useful.

Now we have just bought an iPad, I am thinking of getting the UG as an ebook to take with us.

The other guide books I wouldn't bother with unless you can get the latest editions from your library.

We are going in 2016 too! Treat yourself to a guide - I bought two when we first started planning for 2012 and it indulged my excitement and extreme planning.:thumbsup2

Definitely get the Unofficial Guide and do get it now! It's very funny and had me laughing aloud as well as gaining invaluable information about the parks. Enjoy!

Thanks everyone luckily my daughter asked me what I want for Mother's Day and I said what I really want is the unofficial guides so hopefully I will get them soon and I don't have to feel guilty about buying them :)
