Help me find a hotel

[FreeTime]

I am a very picky hotel stayer and need some help. Has anyone stayed close to Universal with a hotel that:

Is new or newly remodeled
Has an elevator (don't like the first floor and gramps dsnt like steps)
Is super clean
Will accomodate 6 or is reasonable for 2 rooms


Suggestions, please.

Try either the Holiday Inn I-drive or Rosen Center - both on i-drive and close to Universal.

I'll be staying at the Country Inn & Suites (I think that's what it's called) tomorrow night before we move to the Hard Rock for the remainder of our vacation. It's right by Universal and I got a great AAA rate of like $53 a night. I'll let you know how it is.

just got back from crowne plaza universal--extremely clean and only 1 mile s of uso on universal blvd. paid 57/nt thru hotwire. it is the only 3.5 star hotel in the int'l/universal area. we stayed at rpr also and crowne plaza was every bit as nice--just not nearly as themed.

the doubletree is very close to teh parks walking distance to the garage....nice clean safe...
