HELP ME decide!

I want to know from all who have been to either one or both! I have the OK to switch from CR wing to Poly garden view for about 130 more total...what is your opinion on this? I like the dining options at CR better but I love the pool at Poly better!! URGH I am having a hard time on this right now. I was set on CR but have heard bad reviews of the wings lately. My dh would freak if we got a crappy room and spent all this money...I have had to beg him and swear this would all be worth it any advice?? I am leaning to staying at the Poly right now and I can't find my UG right now, I forget which resort has larger rooms. Can you walk to poly from MK? What buildings to avoid at Poly? I love the theming at Poly and the CR is not all that appealing to me right now. Anyone want to comment? I can't believe I am still wavering!!

HI! I have done both and honestly I would either do a CR TOWER room or the Poly. I really think to experience the fun of the CR, you have to be in the tower. I just think the wings seem like a separate hotel. To get to them you walk away from the excitement of the tower. If you are going during swimming weather DEFINITELY the Poly. As much as my family -especially kids- love the CR, the pool is stark. It is cement, cement, and more cement. Nothing cute, fun or unique. The water slide is UGLY. The Poly pool is fun for kids and very tropical and lovely for adults. Even if you llike the CR restaurants, they are only a fun monorail ride away - about 15 - 20 minutes! The GF has fun restaurants, also - another monorail ride away (2 -5 minutes!) You cannot walk from the MK to the Poly, but you can boat or monorail.

We have stayed at the Poly many times and frankly, the CR never held any appeal for me. When SoG was relocated there, I hated walking through those wings just to buy my tickets. No question, I would switch to any room at the Poly.

Another vote for the Poly - better pool and better theming!

I loved our room in the CR North Wing. It is slightly bigger than the Poly rooms, but I don't thing there's enough difference to matter. The current rooms at CR are in bright colors while the Poly is in a tropical orange scheme. The new CR rooms are fabulous looking, but I'm not sure if they will be done when you are there.

You can walk to MK from CR, but there is boat service from the Poly. The one negative about CR is that the pool is rather stark, as well as the rest of the landscaping. If the pool is important to you, definitely pay the $130 more for the Poly. When we went the Poly was quite a bit more.
