Hello to all, my son and i will be arriving to Florida mid july on a Wed. Our plane lands at 12:35 (supposedly);) My son is 10 and we have a Wed thru Sat vacation. I wanted to arrive and check in and then do SW for rest of afternoon. We are military dependents and get in SW free. and we planned to do US and IOA on thurs and fri and relax on Sat. I was wondering being that we arrived mid day should we just relax on wed after we land and do SW on Sat so we can arrive at park early and catch shows and rides and animals without being rushed. I figured being mid july and mid day lines will be long and we will be there rest of evening and into night being SW close at 10 during summer hours. Cant decide please help:confused3. Thanks so much!! Oh we will be staying onsite at universal.

I would do Seaworld on Saturday, so you have the full day available. In the summer in Orlando, it rains almost every afternoon around 3 or 4:00. So by the time you got to Seaworld on Wednesday afternoon, you would probably have to deal with thunderstorms which can either pass quickly, or sometimes go off an on for the rest of the night. The park is open until 10:00pm throughout July so you could wait out the storms and enjoy the night, but I think Saturday might be the better option so you can get there before the big crowds and leave before those thunderstorms come. You could even split Saturday into 2 and come back after the storms pass to see the night time shows (Which are different than the day shows) and other summer night time activities around the park.
