So - I have an ADR for Ohana (8:40) on the morning I plan to go to DHS (opens at 9). I see an opening for a 7:40 at Cape May. I love Poly (have never been to Ohana - more of a Kona guy), and would love to get a visit in. I feel like there's a timing issue (I haven't been to WDW in 6 years - so all of the new-ish DHS stuff is NEW to me); Cape May let's me get to DHS earlier. Which food is best? Also - which trip do you think would be most manageable?

AKL - MK - Poly - DHS
AKL - Beach Club (not quite sure how) - DHS

It seems like Cape May is the winner - but does anyone have convincing arguments for (or against) either right now?

If DHS opens at 9, iMO you want to be there at least 30 minutes before to get to the front of the crowd. I personally think either plan for breakfast is a lot of travel time, but to each his/her own.

Uber directly to either resort would be the easiest. If you go to Cape May, either take the boat or just walk to HS.

good luck!

Of course AKL to BC to DHS is more manageable and that is what I would do. I like to minimize stress on vacation and the difference in food is not enough to make up for the more complicated travel if you go to Poly then DHS.

So what's more important to you? Getting to HS early or going to the poly and getting to HS probably around 1030 or after? I agree, I wouldn't do either if getting to HS early was most important. But if I were to choose 1, Cape May, hands down. Definitely Uber to Cape may then walk to HS, walking is ALWAYS faster than the boat. Food is good at both and very similiar.
