The last time I was in Disney was in May 2000, my son had just turned 6--we are going again this year in May, my son will just turn 10. We will also have my two nieces with us--ages 8 and 5. We definitely want to do MK and AK, I've got two more days left. With kids that age, what other two parks should we do? Epcot, MGM, Universal??? In 2000 we spent two days at Universal and loved it (don't kill me, but I love it as much as I do Disney). I'm just not so sure that the kids will like Epcot that well---or MGM.

I would do Universal and probably MGM. But, if you've got parkhoppers, you could really do Epcot (the kids would love Test Track) and MGM both. I would save MGM for the late afternoon though, as I prefer Fantasmic over Illuminations.

mgm has got some great things, the shows are great, i love love love fantasmic and a lot of people say that tower of terror is the best ride in the park. epcot is also really cool because of the world showcase and test track which is also a favorite of a lot of people. i like universal too i went there last year but i just don't think there is as much to do as in the disney parks. theres not a lot of new stuff there from i went in '97 until i went back in '03.

We have kids similar ages and we plan to skip mgm, it's just not for us. We always enjoy epcot and can find much to keep the kids interest and our entire family loves universal.

We have three daughters 10, 8 and 6. We're doing two days magic kingdom, one day epcot, one day universal and MAYBE one day animal kingdom (we didn't love this park last time...and really didn't enjoy mgm)

I would go with Epcot and Universal if you really want to go it again. My DS is 11 and loves epcot but he also loved it at 8. He likes MGM but it is and has always been his least favorite. If however you have done universal, I might do it instead as it really is a cool park with lots of neat things. Another suggestion is to do 1/2 day AK and then 1/2 day at either Epcot or MGM and save your last day for universal.

Definitely Universal (or IOA). They're both wonderful parks and so much fun. :D
