Help me decide between:

Teppan Edo, Tutto Italia, and Via Napoli for lunch in December. We have Japanese steak houses at home and love them so I didn't know if we should try something different. Anyone like one over the others? What do you like to order? Any opinions good or bad would be great! Thanks!

Well, I'm not sure how much help I'll be since I haven't tried the two Italian places. However, we went to Teppan Edo last April. The food was very good. The portions weren't huge however and we felt it was our most overpriced meal. We weren't on the DDP so that was a factor for us. If you're on the DDP, it is very tasty - we loved the seaweed salad and the chicken, steak and shrimp (we all had different combos). The stirfry veggies and noodles that come with it were tasty too. Our chef was not very theatrical, so we didn't get much of a show either but there were others around us that seemed to have better chefs. Also it was SUPER noisy. We had a birthday party going on at the other three tables in the room and they were all yelling to each other at the various tables. So, we couldn't really even hear well enough to order. It is not a quiet setting, if that's a priority too...if I went again, I'd try Via Napoli...

Thank you for your reply. If it helps we have a ds7 and dd3. Not sure what would be best for them too. We have plenty of Character breakfast's so we don't need it to be just for the kids. It can't be all about them . Plus we are on the dining plan.

If you like your Japanese place at home--I'd skip Teppan Edo. We were there in July and it was good--but nothing special.

We are huge Tutto Italia fans. We were last there in May for dinner. You get a great deal especially being on the DDP. The food is excellent.

Via Napoli is very good as well. My DH & I were there in September and the pizzas are delicious. Both italian places I think are fantastic choices. Yum!

We just got back from WDW and we had dinner at Teppan Edo. What was great was it was fun to watch for our 5yr and almost 3yr old. Food was delicious but they also put on quite a show! Totally recommend!

Tutto Italia is very good, but we have good Italian restaurants at home too. Via Napoli might be less expensive but if you're on the dining plan, who cares? Teppan Edo is just like any other Japanese steak house, and like you... there are plenty at home to go to. Same old bang bang bang with the utensils, the onion volcano, etc.....

I actually like Restaurant Marrakesh and enjoyed the food, the live music and belly dancing in the restaurant if you are looking for something interesting and different.

Ok so I think I am going with one of the Italian restaurants. I know Italian restaurants are everywhere but they don't look like the ones in Disney . I figure this is the closest I am going to get to being in Italy. Leaning slightly towards Tutto Italia.

We've done Tutto before and Teppan Edo many times. We love them both, but keep going back to Teppan Edo. You won't go wrong with Tutto though!
