Help me cross Club 33 off bucket list?

Wouldn't it be great to see what it was like behind those doors

So one day was standing across the street from the door, casually looking toward the door waiting to see anyone go in or go out and I told a street sweeper who was passing by that I saw someone go in there, and asked what it was.

He said, "I honestly have no idea" and kept right on walking.

We both knew better, it was kind of a funny experience.



Mark me down for one of the people who wants to go so badly. About a year and a half ago I sent a request to be put on the waiting list, and got a letter back saying that they were no longer taking names on the waiting list. That's the closest I've ever gotten to Club 33.

When they announced that they were reopening the wait list in May, I made another formal request, but I don't think I'll follow through because the price increase is more than I can afford to spend on such a luxury.

If anyone sees this and wants to send some club 33 lovin' my way, that'd be awesome. It's just my wife and I, two very quiet and polite people in our mid 20's who would be grateful for an opportunity to go before we have kids. We'd be willing to go any time a reservation could be made. If you're out there, and would be willing to get us in, just send a PM. I'll never let anyone know who it was that got us in, we'd be model citizens and not put your membership in jeopardy, and we'd hang a portrait of you in our house so that we would always remember what you did for us.

Not sure, not being a member, but I am not sure "begging" gets anyone anywhere with club 33 mmbers. With rule changes I think it will be more and more difficult..I would be glad to post from there when were are there in August......

I've gotta agree, they're cutting down on the number of reservations members can make, which will make people more likely to not give away as many reservations.

I didn't really see myself as begging, but rather just kinda wanted to put my name out there with hopes that one of the anonymous people who will sometimes set up reservations for other DIS members would see my post and consider me.

I'm not the kind of person who likes to take things from others, but I figured if I never express interest, I'll probably never get the opportunity.

Hopefully something will work out and we'll be able to go. We're young, so even if nothing comes from this board, I'm thinking that eventually we'll make a connection somewhere that will allow us to go.

I've gotta agree, they're cutting down on the number of reservations members can make, which will make people more likely to not give away as many reservations.

But I've branched out to this one as well because I have enough of a history with Disneyland (only living 4 hours away) that I enjoy discussions about it and helping when I can.

So I'll stick around, not to up my chances of getting into Club 33, but because it's a topic I know a lot about and enjoy discussing. So far I have really enjoyed this forum. The only downside to this forum is that it makes me want to constantly go back to Disneyland!

Being 4 hours away I would be there once a month, 1250 miles I can only do once a year for a week. I have never been on a cruise and likely will never go since my wife will NEVER go on a large ship on the ocean, I can add that to my bucket list..and my bucket is much closer than yours is.

We are going to give it a try for lunch and try to get to WOC without the broken fingers this year, and the stroller issues previously.

oh god I remember you talking about that one...we are going to do that in Dec. but Im trying to get an idea of whether we will be given the option for 1st or 2nd show if we do lunch...no one seems to know for sure at this point....so even if you are going to first show, will you ask them if you could have that option when you go?

that is what is being floated around here but someone on the boards and also a friend of mine said that when they went they requested 2nd show and got it so since they have made so many changes since CL opening I just thought it would be a good idea to have as many people report back on what they are told

We will start going more often when we get annual passes.
We haven't bought them yet, but we will in the next year or so.
Currently we go once or twice a year.

ok now before you give everybody a heart attack...what it is, if you book a VIP tour, you can request to have the option to dine at Club 33 but it is not guaranteed...in fact, if you want to be honest, I wonder how many people have actually gotten to do it...if it was that easy there would be less reason to buy membership ...so you are paying $275 per hour (minimum 6 hours) during off peak season for no guarantee...uh i will pass *sigh*

Actually, they are not cutting down on the number of reservations a member can make. What they've done is limit the number of complimentary passes to which a member has access.
