I LIKE Cornbread! But then I'm fond of off-the-wall pet names like Popcorn (twitchy white cat) and Wishbone (cat that loved chicken).

Once had a teeny orange male kitten called "Fang" - figured he needed a macho name to make up for his size.

My orange rescue kitty came to me with the name Sunny - I didn't want to confuse him by changing it, but I added Doodle to it. Here is my Sunny Doodle:

My creamsicle kitten ended up with the name Jack. His feet were so big that he had this sort of strut when he walked, just like Captian Jack Sparrow.

We had an orange kitty named Oliver. He was a sweetie, funniest cat ever!

First name that came to mind was "Oliver" - lol - apparently us Dis-er's are diehards! We remember our Disney Movie Characters well.

If my youngest daughter's favorite stuffed animal hadn't been Oliver from Oliver and Company, the big old fat orange cat next to me right now would have gotten that name. We figured it would have been too confusing to have a live cat and a stuffed animal with the same name.

So the big old fat cat is named Topaz, Tope for short, Tope the Dope when he is annoying or stupid.

Call the kitten Oliver! He can be Ollie for short!

We named our orange kitty "Weasley." His litter mate, who is a black/grey/white tiger with stripes on his forehead, is, of course, "Potter". They were named in 2001 by DD (8yo at the time). They are good boys!
