Help me choose ....

DH and I are going in September. We have the DxDP. For our last night at Disney should we dine at California Grill, Citricos or Narcoossee’s and why? Help me choose.

I have only been to one, but Ca Grill was SOOOO good. Yum.

All three are fine choices, but only you know your preferences. If you ant to see teh fireworks during or after dinner I would choose NArcoossees or CG. I think the atmosphere is different at all three, and while I have not dined at Citricos, y family did and enjoyed it. CG is bright and a bit noisy, very modern. Narcoosses is dimmer, quieter and a bit more relaxed IMO. The food and service is good at both.

i also would pick California Grill or Narcoossee’s for fireworks viewing. I’ve not been but think I’d give a slight edge to Narcoossee’s as a quieter evening. And you can make an evening of it, exploring the very beautiful resort. You could even do a little monorail tour before dinner. The reimagined Mizner’s Lounge is due to reopen in “fall” so it may be open by then - or if not, there’s a temp lounge in the lobby. Definitely worth spending a few minutes listening to the orchestra.

California Grill is also very good but, depending on the time of your reservation, it can be a bit chaotic.

I also loved our meal at Citricos so the good news is, you really can’t go wrong.

A little late to the game but I would say Citricos over Narcoosees. Much better food and it is a nice calm atmosphere.

I can still change the reservation. Can you offer more detail on the “much better food “ difference. We haven’t been to Disney in 30 years. We are trying out some of the nicer restaurants since this trip is just the 2 of us.

I would say Narcossee's we have always had great food and service there. I think the ambiance beats what you get a CG or Citricos as well.

I think you made a great choice! FWIW, I've been to Cali Grill several times (before and after the refurb) and quite honestly, the food has been disappointing each time. And i always order a different dish.

CA Grill - unparalleled view of Magic Kingdom. The dining room is lovely too. For many diners, fireworks can be enjoyed without leaving your seat. Since we find the food to be hit-or-miss, we have lowered our expectations - and have been rewarded with better experiences. Sunday Brunch may be amongst the best Disney offers.

Narcoossee's - an upscale, New England style seafood-focused menu that is fine. The place is not intended to make you say, "Wow," after eating, but the food is very consistent. The bonus is fireworks viewing - which you'll need to go outside to really enjoy. Also, since you are more central to Main Street (in Magic Kingdom), you likely (in my opinion) have a better view of the fireworks than from CA Grill.

Citrico's - better food than Narcoossee's, but no fireworks.

For our money - my family chooses either Narcoossee's or CA Grill for the fireworks. Narcoossee's is more consistent, but CA Grill can occasionally make you say, "Wow," (sometimes).

If you do not attend Disney regularly, I suggest CA Grill, but ain't nothin' bad about Narcoossee's if a simpler menu is your preference.

I think the food at Citircos is a little lighter than fare you will find at Narcoosees. I have eaten at Citricos about 4 times in the last 6 months and I have to say their food has been consistently fantastic. The Beef Short Ribs are to die for. No need for a knife...just the fork they are so tender. Also, the Arancini appetizer is really good as well. If you like wine, I find their list to be particularly good as well. If you have someone who is vegetarian or likes Ratatouille theirs is particularly good as well.

I have had some fair experiences at Narcoosees in the past and one horrendous one where we had some bad lobster that put us out of commission for over a day.

If you go to Narcoossee's my daughter says the Surf and Turf is great and you get the bonus of fireworks and if you time it right the Water Parade. We started going there so the girls could watch that float show.
