Help me chose our final dinner!

So, I made all of our adrs for upcoming trip a while ago, and only recently realized that I made our plans without checking something very important to DH—the New England Patriots football schedule! It turns out that I bought MNSSHP tickets for the night they are playing on Monday Night Football (oops), and our last night, when we had adrs for California Grill, they are playing the Colts! Pats fans know that this is going to be a huge game. He does not mind missing the MNF game, but I am changing things around so we (well, really, HE, I'm mostly just along for the company) can watch the Pats-Colts matchup. We decided the best course of action would be to have an early dinner in the Boardwalk area and then head to ESPN for the game. So, where should we eat? Under consideration:

Flying Fish. Pros: we love it. Cons: we have already eaten there about 5 times.

Bluezoo: Pros: Seafood heavy menu, which we both love. Cons: Todd English restaurant—we eat at his Boston restaurants regularly. Will it be too similar?

Shulas. Pros: DH loves a tasty steak, and the football connection is appropriate. Cons: I don’t eat red meat or lobster, and haven’t heard much about their fish offerings.

Final background, it will just be me and DH (kids and Dsis are flying back two days prior), and we are staying at BWI, so won’t have an issue with dress code. We can pick up our jerseys after dinner…thanks!

How about Spoodles? They have great lamb, shrimp and pasta dishes and is not as pricey as the others that you mentioned. Another consideration is Ariels or Yatchman (which has a bit more seafood) and you can take the Friendship boat or a leisurely walk to ESPN.

There's always dinner at ESPN, but it's not the best food.

We love Shula's, expensive, but great steak...I like the atmosphere too...dark wood, reminds me of Lockeober's in a way..

We have checked out Blue Zoo but did not care for the look of it for some reason and I too love Figgs and Olives but for some reason this did not grab me and entice me to eat there. I would love to read some reviews of this restaurant from others..

I cannot suggest the Yachtsmen as we had a bad experience there and were not impressed with the food or the service....I do know that people love it and we might have been the exception...

What about Big River on the Boardwalk.. not fancy, but we thought food was good: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=2
Also, I do agree with the poster who suggested Spoodles, we have always had good food there and great service..

How about those Bahsten examples..... ;) :teeth:

There are many other options other than those. If you had already eaten in Flying Fish i wouldnt consider this one.

IMHO - Shula's - if you dont eat red meat or lobster then i would say this place is not work the money.

There are several other places along the boardwalk though - Spoodles is fab! You also have the Yachtsman steakhouse and some of the other restaurants in the YC/BC??

My vote would go to Blue Zoo out of your list as i loved it! but i have never eaten in a Todd English restaurant before!

I agree with the above poster...I love Shula's and they had 2-3 fish selections the night that we went and all seemed scrumptious!! :thumbsup2

As far as Todd Englishs' restaurant I did find it to mimick Figs/Olives. Don't get me wrong I love both but you can always eat at Figs/Olives (at least for us in the Boston area) but when is the next time that you will be able to eat at Shula's. Either way, have a great time!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Thanks for everyone's thoughts so far, but I think I should have been clearer--I am definitely booking one of these three restaurants, I am just not sure which one. DH is going to be at the Beach Club for a business conference for three days before our trip, and he knows that at least one of the dinners is at Yachtsman, so that is out. We have had three meals at Spoodles: the first was good, the next two not so good, so I am a bit sour on them. Cape May is out because we don't do buffets. We don't care for the food at ESPN or Big River--it's OK for lunch, but not for our last meal of the trip!

I guess I am leaning towards bluezoo, but if anyone had something really positive to say about Shulas I might change my mind. Thanks! :)
