Help me choose a CD cover!

Hi everyone! I need help!

I'm releasing my third CD later this year and need help choosing the cover photo. I've got it narrowed down to two different shots, but can't make up my mind because I like them both for different reasons.

The music is classic Viennese and American operetta.

Please vote for your fave. (And if you don't mind, let me know why you chose what you did. Thanks!

Definitely #2. You look very pretty in that picture. The 1st one...you smile has an underlying "smirk" to it and I do not think that's the look you'd want on your CD cover!

#2 is very beautiful and you have a look that would make someone want to open the CD and listen.

I guess I'm the opposing vote. I love #1 - You are absolutely gorgeous and your character shows through in #1.

#2 Pale dress and white flowers really puts the focus on your face. The first one has too much contrast between flowers and dress and those two fight for my attention and not your face.

I voted number 2 as well. I don't know what it is about number 1 but I just don't like it as much. I think maybe you look less posed in the second one.

#1 photo has shadows on your face that I don't like and the skin your right arm looks over exposed.

I would post these photos on the photography board for some feedback.

#2 - I like the way your head is turned up towards the light instead of down and away from it. Although I might change my mind depending on the type of music. #2 seems fancier and #1 seems more casual/fun

Picture 1 didn't seem to match the classical theme to me. I also loved the overall color of picture 2.

Definitely #2! I really like the colors in the first one but the second one is definitely a better overall picture.

I voted #2! Your face is in the shadows in #1, and it looks like you kind of pop out against the picture a little more in #2, if that makes sense.

Oh, and I listened to some of your songs on your website.. Holy smokes, lady. You have such an amazing voice! Congrats on the new CD.
