Help me choose a casual lunch at GF, Poly or Contemporary

Scenario: My husband and our two kids, DS4 and DD2 ...we're not staying close enough to MK to go back for a midday break so I'm thinking leaving the park, getting lunch and relaxing at one of the resorts (my daughter is a champion stroller napper) will help so we can last until fireworks...

But I need help choosing! Quick service ideally since we're going late November/early December and table service reservations are going to be hard to get, and this is some last minute planning. Leaning toward Poly or GF since they have nicer places to relax outside ...though I guess I'm even open to going to WL. Anyway, what are your favorites??

Thanks!

I'm a fan of Capt. Cooks at Poly. The food is good and I felt like they had a good variety of options.

The easiest place to go will be CR as you can walk back and forth. Contempo Cafe has very good food and there are a lot of places to sit and relax at CR - outside by the beach, the lobby and on the 4th floor (you can also go to the convention floor which is typically very quiet if no conventions are going on).

Gasparilla's at GF has very good food and you can sit out by the marina. The lobby typically isn't crowded or noisy either.

I'm not really a fan of Poly QS. Capt. Cook's set up creates absolute chaos and I find it very difficult to find seating there. The lobby can get a little crowded, too, IMHO.

WL would be lovely to visit and the new Geyser Point gets stellar reviews. The lobby is stunning.

I love WL when you want to get away and relax. I just love the atmosphere of their lobby and everything. If you aren't opposed to table service Whispering Canyon might be a good bet.

I really like the food at all 3 monorail QS locations, it seems they are all a bit higher quality than most QS places.

As much as I loved the food at Poly Captain Cook..it has the smallest indoor seating area and the outdoor seating overlooks the wonderful looking kids splash area, so I wouldn't torture kids that can't go play in it.

Ah yes thank you! I didn't think of that, and it'd be best to avoid, thanks!

I forgot about Geyser Point, that would be perfect! Kids would love the ferry ride over too. Thanks!

Another vote for Geyser point- that place has a great location right on the lake and pretty good food! You're going at a perfect weather time too, so Geyser Point's outdoor setting will be really nice that time of year!
