I am driving myself insane trying to decide which double stroller to purchase for our Sept trip to WDW. At the time of our trip, my sons will be almost 4 y.o. and 18 mos. I like what I have read about the Kidco on-line but cannot find one to try-out before purchasing. Does anyone have experience with either the Combi or Kidco? I have found the double Kidco for $169 and the Combi for $200 plus tax at Babies R Us. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated before I drive my husband crazy!!!!!!

We like our combi single stroller and are planning to use it this coming trip for our 14 month old. We have 4 strollers (!) but we feel this is best geared for Disney. He likes it alot and sits in it very nicely for quite a long time. I don't like how it lacks a cup holder, but we make do with attachments and gadgets. I love how lightweight it is and how it folds so nicely and easily. It really can be done with one hand.

combi makes great single strollers, but I have heard a ton of complaints about their doubles. My twins are 6 and when they were born the twin savvy was still in development and people were anxiously awaiting it. When it hit the market it was initially well received - it was light and maneuverable and convenient. Then the breakage problems started. Talk at my local moms of multiples meetings leads me to believe they have never truely worked out the bugs. Looking around the local malls, you still don't see a ton of them.

The MacLaren that I bought for my twins was amazing. Sturdy, and convenient not too heavy. I paid $400 for it and got $200 when I sold it 3.5 years later.

We had a Combi twin savvy and loved it. That said I don't think it is a good choice for you. The seats are quite narrow so I think you will find that your4 year old will outgrow it pretty quickly. My older DD is tall but built quite narrow so we were able to get a lot of use out of it but I have heard others complain about the seat size. I have heard wonderful things about the double Maclaren. Maybe you could find a used one that is probably better built than the strollers you are considering.

What was the model and how old were you kids when they used it?

6 months till almost 4

We had the Opus Duo. I think they have replaced it with something else, not sure what. A great place to find them is at a Moms of Multiples or similar club annual resale. Most of the clubs sponser resales and most areas have a club.
