Help! July 2005 rates????

Curious what type of rates guests recieved in July at the Poly and AKL concierge? We would like to spend three nights at the Poly next summer-garden view or whatever just let me know what catagory of room you had and what rate and discount applied. My 13 yr old wants to stay at the AKL concierge a couple of nights, should I anticipate paying rack rate for that? Thanks

Magical Memories Travel has a group rate available for some time in July, the last 2 weeks I think, and I think they had both of those resorts as part of the rate. I think Poly is $213 gv ($287 gv concierge) and AKL concierge is $237.

How did you find out about this? We're planning on going in Aug 06, and a rate like that would be great!

I booked my December trip through them, and I asked about any other upcoming rates they might have. If you go to their website, you can request a quote. As far as I know, they have a group rate for July and for August.

Were they slow in responding to quote requests? I have made 2 different requests in the last week and have not heard from them except the initial instant reply you recieve.

I think our rate at the Polynesian (garden view) for July 05 was $225 per night (before tax) - $244 with tax? This was an AP rate.

The best rates I have ever gotten were:
$179 a night GV Polynesian July 2001
$149 a night savannah view AKL December 2001
$199 a night GV at the Grand Floridian December 2001

The December 01 rates were a reflection of post 9/11. But I didn't think my Polynesian rate for 05 was too shabby.
