Help! iTunes card code unreadable

DD received an iTunes giift card but when she scratched the label off it took the printed code with it. Does anyone know what we can do? We don't know where it was purchased.

We have had this happen. Email them and they are great about getting back to you!

When we had this happen, we had to fax them a copy of the back of the card (what could be read) and the receipt. I do not think that they will/can do anything without proof of purchase.
