Help! Is this a scam?

A DVC owner at http://vacationtimesharerentals.com/ is offering me $1,500 for a FULL week in a 2 Bedroom villa at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. It is during Magic Season, the 2nd most expensive season. What should I do?!

BTW The owner is also asking for a REFUNDABLE Damage Deposit of $700.

I don't know the company but I wonder if it's not a timeshare exchange. If it is, you could save some money but there is risk since it's against RCI's rules to rent an exchange. They could cancel your rental at any time if they wanted. OTOH, it could be a DVC contract they own and they're just trying to get the fees paid. I'd ask them about it.
