My first 8 shirts came out perfect!!! Today, I made 2 Mickey Heads and when I pulled the transfer sheet away, it didnt seem to stick, so I re-ironed them. When I finally pulled the transfer sheet away, you could see that it didnt peel away clean or smooth. On the other shirt, you could see the holes from my iron. Third shirt came out great. Fourth shirt had iron holes again. What am I doing wrong?:confused3

are you maybe rubbing your iron over the designs?

if so, just kind of "stamp" my iron over the design in several positions.

that's all I can think of :( good luck!

did you wash the sizing out of the shirts first?
did you make sure the iron was empty of water and not set on steam?
did you let the iron heat up at least 5-8 minutes before starting?
how are you ironing (i.e., rubbing, going straight across or what)?

perhaps we need more info to help you and then again, perhaps it's as the PP said.

the shirts were pre-washed.
the iron did have water in it, but I had the steam off.
the iron heated up for at least 10 minutes.
I am ironing using the stamping method and pressing firmly.

So the first two seemed to stick, the third came out fine and the fourth had the iron holes on the design.:confused3

I think we are just going to leave these shirts as is. But I would like to avaid whatever mistake I made on the next shirts. Thank you for the hlp...I appreciate all the advice!!!::yes::

Since it is "spots" that are lifting and not sticking it sounds like steam may be coming out even though it is turned off. Did you use a thin fabric as an overlay as you iron- I always use a cheapo thin white tee shirt to sit between the shirt I am ironing onto and the iron- seems to elilminate any "issues"

Good luck.
