I know it's pretty hot in the daytime (though not the sweltering humidy like at WDW) but what should we wear at night? Can we get away with long shorts and/or capris and t's or will we need long pants and a sweater. :laundy: I'm packing and doing laundry. LOL

It's usually a good idea to have some sort of jacket or sweatshirt for night. Especially if it is windy. I would judge the pants/capri issue based on if your legs get cold. Some people are okay in a jacket and shorts, others need pants and a jacket. I'm thinking the nights won't be too bad, but I'd take a couple pairs of pants just in case and definitely the jacket/sweatshirt.

In Disneyland Ive never had a jacket or sweatshirt at night, its often quite warm. Even in the cooler months its often still pretty warm and I only wear a jacket periodically on trips then.

Last night the coldest it got, which is probably around 4am or something, was 67 degrees. Should be a good judge. I'd guess it'd be around 70 in the evenings. So it just depends what you're comfortable with, some people have jackets or sweatshirts at that temperature, others dont.

In the summer, I haven't really needed a jacket or sweatshirt in the evenings when we have gone. I have in May and late Sept though. If you are one of the always cold people (like me), then I'd just take a long sleeve shirt and wear and short sleeved on under it. Then if you are hot, you can take off the outter shirt, but if your chilly, you have the long sleeved shirt and another shirt under it. I do that if we are starting in early afternoon and I am pretty sure I'll need something later, it's less stuff to carry around.

Saturday night, I as wearing a tank at DCA and was a bit chilly during the Electrical Parade. I could have used a light sweater or pull over. I was wearing capris and was fine on the legs. I had a light denim jacket for my 3 year old and a light cardigan for the baby and they were fine.

If you are coming this week, you'll need tank tops and a light sweater or hoodie to handle the extremes. I plan on doing the same thing on Wednesday (friends in from out of town, so doing the parks because it's "cheap" with an AP).
