Help I'm a hostage of preteen girls!!

My DD, 11, and 11 of her dearest friends are currently in our basement singing karaoke!!!! Hard to think of imaginative ideas for December Birthdays......only "good" thing- the system we have has a video camera built in and I am recording their "productions" for posterity!!!! I see blackmail material for the future!

Actually, they are really good girls, but growing up WAY too fast! A really tight knit and good group- they ALL make me very proud.

I have an 11 DD too, and she is in a good group of girls too, its the beginning of a tough stage but I'm glad she's with good friends.

Hi Val,
That will be me tomorrow. My DD (11) is having her b-day party tomorrow with some her 10 best friends. They will be here for 4 hours!!! She asked the girls to either bring their bikes, scooters, or skates so they can go to the park. I just hope the weather cooperates.

Then on Thursday, my 14 yo DD is having 10 of her very best friends over to celebrate her b-day. She is organizing her party. They are into hair and make-up parties.

I agree with you that December birthdays are tough.
