OK, everybody I need help! Here's the story:
I was in the (inside) pin trading/event area yesterday afternoon. I met a really nice lady named Laurie & her husband - new to trading. She's a Tink fan, and was interested in my LE 7500 WDW Tink & Castle from 2000. The only LE she had was the St Pat's Mickey from the event & wanted to give it to me for the pin. I explained to her that it would be unfair (especially after she waited in line!) and she'd regret it later & I couldn't take it and sleep at night. She didn't have a lot of pins yet and I didn't want to take anything special from her. She wanted to get me one of the just-released "Walt with..." pins. Too much money, I said.
Sooooo, I suggested she hit the pin cart, buy a cheap LE (any LE) and the pin is hers. "I'll be right here, I'll wait for you - won't go anywhere...", I tell her. So, happy that she's getting a cool Tink pin, she heads off with Hubby in tow. This is where it gets bad: Right after she leaves, they close the pin trading area because it was 2:00 and the event is over!
I didn't know right away, I'm sitting inside waiting for her. When I finally realized she couldn't come back in, I felt awful. I looked all over the Park for her, but I couldn't find her. I can just imagine her thinking I sent her off to get a pin so I could take off.
So, just like Cinderella, I want to find her. She's a very pretty blonde, very nice. I have a Tink pin with her name on it. Laurie, are you out there? Does anybody know her? I need all the help I can get!!!
