I really would like to stay somewhere where I can have a clean place that has a kitchen. I know how to find condos like that - but how about hotels? Any ideas? THanks!

There's a full kitchen in all homewoods. Has full size fridge, microwave, sink, coffeemaker, 2 or 4 ring cooker (can't remember which!).

Also includes full hot buffet breakfast 7 days a week and a managers evening reception (beer, wine, sodas, popcorn & 1 hot dish) Mon - Thurs.

Have a look on trip advisor - they always in top 10 for Orlando. Great rates too, we pay about $80 including tax a night.

They're part of Hilton chain, really clean, free wifi, heated pool, laundrette on premises.

Def. worth a go if you don't want to pay over the top but want the facilities.

Homewood suites have a mini kitchen that include a full size fridge, dishwasher and microwave and only a 2 burner cook top. In most cases that is perfect. Unless you plan on doing baking! hahaha You also may want to take a look at a condo hotel. They are pretty convenient and some have full kitchens like you would have at home.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites in Lake Buena Vista and had all those things plus there was a manager's reception some eveinings. That was a long time ago so things may have changed.

The Homewood Suites in Lake Buena Vista is now a Condo hotel where you have to pay for breakfast and some other things..the manager's reception has been done away with at that property. It's now the Palomino Suites

embassy suites had a mircowave & small refrigerator.

one more thing - some condos are cheaper than hotels.

none of the reviews for these places were horrible.

Have you tried Extended Stay America? They are very reasonable and with a kitchen.

Enclave suites on carrier drive by Wet 'n Wild has a kitchen, blender micro, dishwasher, coffee maker, a full size fridge and I am pretty sure a stove,

Check out alpharooms.com for Homewood suites, IDrive (stayed there they are great) just looked for someone for a night in Dec $81 incl tax. they are sometimes cheaper than anyone else.:goodvibes

Def - I'd agree - we stayed in Homewood suites twice - full kitchen, hot buffet breakfast, evening food/beer/wine Mon - Thurs.

Great location.

If $80 a night is cheap for a hotel room with a kitchenette, I'm glad I found a condo for $60 a night! I know a condo doesn't have all the perks a hotel does-housekeeping, resort activities, etc.-but I'll keep my extra $20 a night and do something fun. And I won't make a mess! :)

If a kitchen is a must have, look into renting a condo. They can be very affordable!

Have you ever considered timeshare resorts? They have the space and amenities of a condo with a more hotel/resort feeling.
You can get a 2br condo for $99/nt at Cypress Pointe & Cypress Pointe Grand Villas thru hotelkingdom.com.
We stayed in the Grand Villas a few years ago and it was great. big Jacuzzi...mmmm...:cloud9:

If you want a really cheap place, we stayed at Howard Johnsons Maingate East in January for $30/night (through Hotwire.com). There was a kitchenette in our room- microwave, fridge, sink. The room was bigger than a normal hotel room, and it was clean. Not a lot of frills, but if you're just looking for a clean, cheap place to stay, it will fill the bill.
