Help..I want to DIS but I hate that Halloween picture

Is there a way I can enjoy the DIS without having to be really freaked out by the horrible picture that is on the top and bottom of this page. It is really disturbing me to a point that I may not be able to visit for awhile.

Please advise

My DD5 hates it!! She likes to look at some of the picture threads, and got a bit freaked out today (to say the least)!! I hadn't noticed it until she showed me, but now it is all I see.

I learned this in another thread - but if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of this page, there's a drop-down box on the left - you can change the theme of your page and that awful banner will go away

I agree....it IS pretty disturbing. That's saying a lot coming from me because I used to work in haunted houses at Halloween time.

I learned this in another thread - but if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of this page, there's a drop-down box on the left - you can change the theme of your page and that awful banner will go away

YES, I am all time freaked out by those pictures, it has been a childhood nightmare of mine. I have had to read the DIS with post it notes attached to my computer screen.

Thanks to you I changed the theme and they are gone

I noticed your post on the front page, and just had to pop over here to say "I totally agree!" Thanks to the poster who let us know how to find the drop down box to change it! I like my nice calm ad for Swan and Dolphin much more. The horror faces were bothering me, too!

That's so funny because I was just looking at the creepy girl with white eyes and thinking how gross is that! Now I've switched to Calif. Gold and no more creepy creeps!

Thank you!! All these years and I never knew you could do that. I hate looking at it and I am scared my kids are going to walk in and see it - they would be freaked.
