Background:
I made reservations for our home resort for Oct 29 and 30, a few months ago. Last month I bought airfare. Then my son had some medical issues, tests, etc. We have been juggling traveling 3 hours each way to his specialist. I waited until we were done to make sure that we were actually going to be able to go and my kiddo's health wouldn't prohibit it and money wouldn't be too tight to enjoy it. (We've stayed away from home 5 nights this month alone). All is good. Today I went to purchase tickets for MNSSHP for the 30th and they're sold out.

Other than scalpers, does anyone know of a way to purchase tickets? Is it possible that people won't show up and we can buy some at the gate? Any help is appreciated. I feel like the worst mom ever right now.

I don't even think you could by them from scalpers. The tickets had the guest's name on it when I bough them for last month.

Perhaps email or call Disney? When you get there if you still haven't gotten tickets yet stop by Guest Relations and just plead your case to them. It can't hurt.

You aren't by any chance a military family are you?

My dad is. When we go in the summer months we get tickets through SoG. Dad begged out of this trip though. I am a Navy brat. lol

Oh darn too bad your dad isn't going. I know they will usually sale military members tickets to sold out parties.

I tried pleading my case, the representative could have cared less. sigh

I just called SOG and they aren't selling any MNSSHP tickets.

I guess we'll wait and see if there's anything we can do in person.

Sorry I should have been more specific you have to get a guest relations person which I'm not sure if they have a posted number or not. The standard "vacation planners" can't really do much and won't really care. A GR person might take your story to heart (especially since it involves a sick little kiddo) and force the sale through. Not sure how to get to them though. Sorry calling didn't work out though.

Thanks! I'll see if I can google it. Fingers crossed

In person we have been told that if their system shows sold out, they are sold out, try another night.

Sorry it is not working out for you. The 30 and 31st are the biggest nights for MNSSHP. Perhaps you could have dinner somewhere in the MK area and then watch wishes either at the restaurant or the Top of the World Lounge at MK. I hope your son is feeling better.

You could check ebay but it looks like they don't even have 10/30 for Disney World available.

ETA: Stubhub has them for $160 a pop if you are desperate - not sure how Disney hasn't blocked that. o_O
