I'm not very computer savy! :confused3 I've been trying to print Mousekeeping envelopes for over an hour & when I save it to a new folder & then try to open it with a different program, I get all these letters & numbers! :badpc: Please help a fellow DISer! :thanks:

:disrocks:

Welcome to DIS! I'm in the same boat as you when it comes to computers. I tried printing them from a couple sites and wasn't too successful, so I just created my own using Disney fonts and punch holes in them using my Mickey hole puncher.

I used to be a computer teacher (now I am a second grade teacher,) so I can give you some advice. You probably don't have the program that they were made with, and don't be upset about that. I agree with CA, it's just easier to make them yourself, you can copy what the others look like, but use your own fonts and stuff. http://simplythebest.net/fonts/ is a great site to get fonts, but I am sure that others might help with better font places.

I had trouble printing from one of the sites (the first that came up on my google search) but did ok with this one. http://www.arwolff.com/heidi/
They are not as 'fancy' as the first ones I tried but they certainly did the trick. My envelopes are all stuffed and I still have 5+ months to go :bounce: .

I had a problem doing them myself -- don't know why cause I didn't the last time we went! Here's what I did -- I brought up the envelope I wanted to do, then highlighted the whole thing and copied and pasted it into an envelope project in PrintShop. I was then able to print them out how I wanted to.

I did everything the darn thing told me to, even bought the WinZip program, and i can't get them to appear as a choice when i select the drop down box of fonts?? anyone have any suggestions? I followed the directions to the tee, i think :confused3

well, this is a step that no one tells you about (unless I miss it in the directions, but I remember how to do this). You have to find your windows root directory. Like.. My computer->click on C:->then find the windows folder. Inside that folder is a folder called fonts. You have to copy whatever was in the winzip folder into that fonts folder, then it will pop up wherever you use your fonts. If you get stuck, let me know and I'll create screenshots of what I am talking about and can email them to you.

I found my fonts folder and added the Disney font to that folder but it still doesn't appear :confused3 . I am about to give up, something so simple shouldnt be this hard for me to figure out !!

I appreciate your help though :goodvibes :thumbsup2 thanks :teeth:
