Help! I booked the Wine tasting dinner at Flying Fish, paid in full two months ago..

But cannot locate the confirmation number...I tried calling disney dining, but they have no record of it, and if memory serves me correctly, I did not book it through disney dining....Anybody havev any idea of a number to call?
I've been googling, and cannot seem to find anything!

As far as I know, the only way to book this is through WDW-DINE or DVC Member Services. You can book it online now, but it's the same system.
 
Did you put it on a credit card. If so then you would have a record of the reservation.

How frustrating! I agree to use the credit card payment as record of the reservation. If you have on-line access to your account you will be able to see it on there. You can probably PDF the file and send it directly to Disney once you know who to send it to.

It might take some time, but they can locate ADR's by
. . . your last name
. . . your first name
. . . your phone number(s)
. . . your confirmation number
. . . your specific eatery's date and time
 
Rusty's right, they have lots of ways to find your reservation. If they have your name spelled incorrectly (trust me, that happens) then they won't find it by your name. Try the phone number.

I really am not an idiot, and should have elaborated earlier. :rotfl2:
I DID check my online banking, called disney dining and was told that without an actual confirmation number, that payment meant nothing :confused3

Rusty- I called disney dining THREE, yes three times, spoke to three different reps, and gave them name, (both my married, and maiden, just in case. I recently got married), my address, phone number.
Nothing could be located.
I called Flying Fish directly, A la disney's advise, got no answer.
Decided to call disney dining for the FOURTH time...
Well, finally got somebody that searched properly, and guess what? There it was under the last name and phone number that I was originally giving the first three times I called! :rolleyes:

So, mystery solved, and we are good to go! :woohoo:

I am thinking that since I booked a few months back, and it was fairly new, they did not know how to look it up?? :confused3
At any rate, I am glad that was resolved, and thanks everybody! :hippie:
 
Sorry to say but this sounds pretty typical for WDW-DINE. You just have to keep calling until you get someone who knows their stuff.
