Help, i booked my dollar rental yesterday and i went to modifiy it today,3x more

i booked my date dec.28-jan. 7 yesterday for $500 for a mini van and today i just wanted to change them to dec. 29-jan.8 and dollar wants $1300 + for a mini van now. then i checked other car rentals and the samething all the well known car rental are up there to, what happened over night?

i will reply to myself and anyone else looking for car rental.

i called dollar and she said it is alittle to earler to book car rental for christmas, so she suggested to wait until july to check the rates. i will keep my car rental ressies and keep checking on the rates and then modifiy it, i also have a farely good ressies with enterprises but they are off site of the airport and i wanted on site, but at this point we are flyinf AA and they are one of the airports that are able to send our luggage on the magic express, so at least we dont have to worry about our luggage.

We went last christmas for 10 days and paid about 640 for a mini van thru National. I think I made the ressies in late July.......Good Luck...they wnet up and down adn up and down.
