Help! I am flying Delta but really have no idea what's going on!?!

OK. I've heard talk about a strike, but I really have no idea what exactly that means for me. We booked our Delta flight via a travel agent (Wal-Mart, I think) months ago. Is this something I should be concerned about? What do I need to know and/or do? I've spent tons of time planning our days when we're in the parks, but really haven't given any thought to the transportation issue. Please clue me in so that I'm not left in a bind. Thank you!!!!

1 more thing...I just checked the delta.com website & found the info about my departing flight. However, I cannot find anything about my return flight. Could it have been cancelled or changed? How do I go about finding this out. Shouldn't my travel agent contact me about these things?

just search the transportation board for Delta.We should know 1 way or the other by the weekend.Some folks on the boards are coming up with a plan B in case Delta folds.We are all in the dark as to what to think or do at this point.I have no answer for you except to search these boards there are a few threads with discussions on this topic.Good luck!

at this point, there really is not much you can do. Most of the other airlines are already booked solid and who knows if the Delta pilots will actually go out on strike. All I would do is prepare a list of alternative airlines with their phone numbers and even spend a few minutes looking up alternative flights into other airports not too far from your home. If you end up at WDW and your flights are cancelled, having the info and phone #'s will make life easier...and be sure to bring your cellphone charger with you !!!

It does appear your returne flight may have been changed. I would call your TA tomorrow and get them working on the situation!
